What we do

Football Made Easy publishes news, transfer reporting, match analysis and long-form features on the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and UEFA club competition. We write for the reader who already knows the offside rule and wants to understand why a team’s build-up changed shape in the second half.

Who writes this

One person does. There is no newsroom behind this site and no wire desk, which shapes what you will and will not find here.

What you get: two or three considered pieces a week, a weekly roundup of everything that mattered across Europe, and explainers built to stay useful long after publication. Live scores, fixtures and tables update automatically throughout the day.

What you will not get: breaking transfer news within minutes of it landing. Sites with twenty reporters will always beat one person on speed, so this site does not compete there. It competes on being worth reading the day after.

Editorial standards

We do not publish transfer stories without a named source, and we say plainly when something is a rumour rather than a report. Corrections are made openly and noted at the foot of the article.

Where our data comes from

Fixtures, results, live scores and league tables come from football-data.org, refreshed automatically throughout the day. Where a score is shown before that feed has loaded, it is labelled as sample data rather than presented as a result.

Independence

We are not affiliated with any club, league or governing body. Club names, badges and competition marks referenced on this site remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
